Example

You have prepaid web hosting with XY until 9 September 2025. On 15 February 2025 you will pay for web hosting with us (for 1 year). This web hosting will be valid until 15 February 2026. You have 208 days left with our competitors, we will extend the validity of your free web hosting with us by 416 days, i.e. its validity date will be 6 April 2027.

Terms of the free period

  • it must be a paid web hosting for the same level 2 domain
  • when ordering web hosting, the customer must truthfully state which competitor they are switching from and what web hosting program they used
  • the customer must attach to the web hosting order a document (invoice) proving the existence of the web hosting service with a competitor, from which the end date of the subscription period can also be proven; this invoice must include:
    • the type of service (web hosting) and the domain name for which the service is hosted by a competitor
    • the day, month and year of the end of the subscription period
    • confirmation of payment of the subscription amount for the period in question
  • the offer does not apply to free web hosting provided by competitors, even if it is part of another paid service (e.g. domain)
  • before the bonus is recognized, the customer must pay the annual fee for the operation of the VEDOS Webhosting
  • the number of days remaining on the competitor's prepaid period is calculated from the date of payment of the order with us
  • maximum free period is 2 years
  • the operator assesses the eligibility of the bonus period and is entitled to shorten the allocated period or reject the claim completely

Domain and web hosting can be transferred to VEDOS without any downtime and without any problems.

Detailed instructions for switching from competitors

In case the transfer fails, you pay nothing and the payment for the ordered hosting will be refunded to you (if you request cancellation under the Money Back Guarantee).
